In the recording of The Terror State, Anti-Flag turned to their long time friend Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine/Audioslave), employing him as the album's executive producer. Anti-Flag was invited by Woody Guthrie's granddaughter to pull lyrics from his archives and use them for a song; the product being the song "Post War Breakout".
